Imperial War Museums have created a spectacular jigsaw puzzle to commemorate Winston Churchill's 150th Anniversary!  

An inspirational leader, Churchill is still widely respected today. This is a special puzzle to honour Winston Churchill's extraordinary life, as we celebrate 150 years since his birth at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire.

Churchill’s dramatic life story has become almost legendary. From a prisoner in the Boer War, to an influential politician, he rose to become Prime Minister in the darkest hour of the Second World War. Renowned for his famous speeches his leadership helped get the nation through a time of great hardship. By his courage and vision he paved the way for post-war peace and freedom in western Europe.

Did you know that Winston Churchill as well as being an accomplished artist, he was the first prime minister to win a Nobel prize? Sometimes nicknamed the 'British Bulldog', Churchill served as prime minister for a second time in the 1950s. Over the course of his long career in Parliament he witnessed the reigns of six British monarchs: Victoria, Edward VII, George V, Edward VIII, George VI, and Elizabeth II.

Churchill achieved so much in his lifetime, which is why we believe this puzzle is the perfect fit to celebrate this special 150th anniversary. A great puzzle for those who are interested in History, War and Politics.
