  • Function: The Lekkie BB86/92 Adapter Kit in red is used if your frame has a BB86 or BB92 bottom bracket, because here no standard Bafang BBS motor fits. Thus, the size of the bottom bracket is no longer decisive for whether you can electrify their bike.
  • Features: The adapter set is designed to fit a 68mm Bafang motor to a BB86/BB92 bottom bracket (41mm inner diameter) without having to modify or disassemble the motor. However, this only works with frames with 41mm inner diameter at the bottom bracket. The weight is 100 grams.
  • Note: This adapter is designed for frames with a bottom bracket tube outer diameter of less than 47 mm (48 mm are possible, but the motor will protrude 2 mm). Carbon frames often have a thick carbon layer and the motor will not fit. Our experience has shown that some modification is required for frames with ISG chain guide brackets, as these brackets can affect the clearance for the motor.
  • Compatibility: This adapter fits the V1, V2.1 and V2.5 cranks from Lekkie and the Bafang cranks. You can NOT use this adapter with the V3.1 cranks from Lekkie.
  • Accessories: For easy installation and best compatibility, we recommend matching accessories or whole Bafang conversion kits, found either in the Amazon Store or on our website with ideal advice and instructions on our products, for your special e-bike or pedelec experience.
